Against Despair

The Supreme Court has granted Trump immunity so he can achieve power and not surrender it again.
Those who fought in the Revolution did not fight for a leader but for liberty, freedom, and thus for democracy.
Will we be summer soldiers and sunshine patriots now?
Will we give our right to vote by staying home, wishing we had the “right” leader to follow? One who did everything we wanted? Gave us everything we wanted?
Will we surrender to our own despair and thus to tyranny small or great?
This is not a video game, a movie, or a time to be passive. Trump’s followers will support him no matter.
If you are old inspire the young. If you are young give faith back to the old.
March now. Vote now. Stand together now. Not when it is too late.
